GRANBY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH GROUP
The activities of the Mary Seacole House are currently focused on an area, which includes the area known as “Toxteth” – that is the wards of Granby, Abercromby, Smithdown and Arundel. The Centre does not however limit its activities to these areas. It also services the city centre and other areas of Merseyside.
THEIR UNTOLD STORIES
“Their Untold Stories” stands as a record of work over the past 20 years by Granby Community Mental Health Group, Mary Seacole House and The Advocacy Project. It also provides an opportunity for people who use the mental health services of these organisations to tell their life stories in whichever way they choose. Those who have chosen to write their stories identify experiences of serious sexual violence, physical abuse and racial discrimination as key contributory factors to their mental health problems.
